Ortega, who is now 21, told BuzzFeed : “I think it was Chani, I think it was Zendaya’s.

But they weren’t saying that, everything was very secret.” The actress added that she remembers being “really excited” at the audition because director Denis Villeneuve “is one of my favourite filmmakers.” Along with Zendaya, the critically acclaimed first instalment of the sci-fi series went on to also star Timothée Chalamet , Rebecca Ferguson , Oscar Isaac , Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgard and Dave Bautista .
