Facebook Twitter WhatsApp SMS Email Print Copy article link Save JD Bancshares, the parent company for Jennings-based JD Bank, has named Paul E. Brummett II as company president and bank chief executive officer. Bank officials made the announcement Tuesday and noted that Brummett replaces Bruce W.

Elder, who has led the company since 2019. Bank officials also named chief banking officer James A. “Jimmy” LeBlanc as president/chief banking officer.

Brummett, who has been with JD Bank for 32 years, spent more than 20 years as chief financial officer, led the bank’s branch operations for six years and was a credit analyst for four years. He is a graduate of McNeese State University. LeBlanc, who has 34 years of banking experience, with a focus on commercial lending in the bank’s markets.

He joined JD Bank after its acquisition of Guaranty Bank in 2012 and continued as senior vice president and regional manager for the bank’s northeast market. He is a graduate of LSU and the LSU Graduate School of Banking. JD Bank has 26 locations across south Louisiana, including three in Lafayette.
