JAY Blades showed that he was the supportive friend to his unlikely pal Dame Judi Dench on their Channel 4 programme. The pair remained in wedded bliss until Michael passed in 2001 at the age of 65. On tonight's show, Judi took Jay to a home that she used to live in with Michael and their daughter Finty in the the 70s and 80s. In the episode, Judi first said: "I want to take Jay to see my old home in the village of Charlecote but having not been back since leaving in 1984.
