Japanese airline ANA partnered with Pokémon to create an adorable safety video featuring everyone’s favorite capturable monsters. The company revealed the fruits of its partnership today by posting a nearly five-minute video that gives passengers everything they need to know about staying safe in the air. It’s essentially your typical instructional flight safety video but with some Pokémon spice.

Highlights include appearances from Pocket Monsters from across multiple generations, so while Pikachu and Pichu of course show up to guide attendees, other fan favorites like Rotom, Ludicolo, Emolga, and Floragato are incorporated in fun ways, too. Skip to 0:46 in the video to see a passenger help Lucario by adjusting their seat, and at the two-minute mark, Jigglypuff can be seen scolding someone for vaping on the plane. Even Mr.

Mime lends a helping hand by demonstrating how to properly wear oxygen masks. It’s both hilarious and very cute while delivering key instructions for everyone on board. The ANA Pokémon safety video is part of a wider collaboration with The Pokémon Company that has also resulted in creature-themed planes.

Two aircraft – the Eevee Jet NH and Pikachu Jet NH – are decorated with various Pokémon from across the franchise, both on the inside and outside of the vehicles. They will both feature the safety video starting August 15, 2024. “With this collaboration, we aim to provide excitement to our customers and provide an in-flight safety vide.
