A Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner , operated Japan Airlines (JAL), made contact with a Delta Air Lines 737-800 at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) on Wednesday. The incident reportedly happened shortly after the JAL aircraft arrived from Tokyo. The 737 was bound for Puerto Vallarta and was parked to prepare for deicing.

It exited the runway and taxied toward the S concourse, where it was due to arrive at gate S8. By 09:55, the plane was taxiing on the south side of the concourse near gates .
