James Martin returned for a brand new episode of his Saturday Morning show on ITV1 and was joined by a whole host of guests as he whipped up a storm in the kitchen. One of the guests who joined the chef in the kitchen was comedian Lucy Beaumont who spoke about her career while James cooked a lentil dish for her. However, viewers at home weren't too happy with Lucy and flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express their frustrations.

One person expressed: "Can't stand these interviews with comedians where the comedian gives the host a list of questions they have to ask them so they can churn out their rehearsed jokes #JamesMartinsSaturdayMorning #JamesMartin." Another viewer quipped: "Not sure if @LucyABeaumont is playing the fool, or just not funny. James is struggling either way.

#jamesmartin." Somebody else fumed: "She's not that funny, in my view. Then again, I don't think Yorkshire folks are naturally funny either, in general.
