The final ever episode of Gavin and Stacey is being filmed and fans couldn't be more excited about the upcoming Christmas special. Ever since the conception of the BBC sitcom back in 2007, devotees have been wondering what on earth happened on Bryn's fishing trip with his nephew Jason. And there has been plenty of off-screen drama, too - actors have dated and broken up, best friends have become distant acquaintances, and the creative spark that made the BBC sitcom so special was even lost for a time.

While she and James Corden played siblings onscreen, in real life the actors enjoyed a two-year romance which began the same year as the show. After one break-up, James, now 46, confessed he had his eye on singer Lily Allen. "I made it my aim to make Lily mine," he said.
"I guess we were friends but, for my part, I definitely wanted more than that." The star later reconciled with Sheridan, 43, and branded her the 'love of my life'. "Yes, Sheridan and I are back together and it's going brilliantly," he told the Mirror in 2008.
"I couldn't be happier. I want to marry my girl." But by 2009 it was all over and James started partying heavily, fearing his life was spiralling out of control.
"I was heartbroken and lost," he told The Times . "I'd had a relationship with Sheridan which was heart breaking, when you think something might work and it doesn't. "And feeling lo.
