The speculation over who will next play James Bond in the long-running film series of the same name continues, with one actor still the favourite according to the latest odds. It has yet to be announced who will replace Daniel Craig , 56, in the role - created by the late author Ian Fleming - following his appearance in the most recent five films in the franchise. The latest was No Time to Die, released in 2021.

Various people have been named as his potential successor over the years since then. They include Aaron Taylor-Johnson , 34, Henry Cavill , 41, and Regé-Jean Page , 36, who remain among one bookies' favourites for the role. According to the latest odds provided by bookmaker Coral , actor Aaron remains their favourite to land the role, with him said to still be "the most popular selection in their betting".

Coral's John Hill said: "We think [Aaron] remains in the driving seat to replace [Daniel]. The British actor has attracted just over 70% of all bets in our market in 2024." Aaron - who's known for films like Kick-Ass (2010) and Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) - has been given odds of 2-1 at the moment.

He's followed by former Superman actor Henry at 7-2 and then Snowfall's Damson Idris, 32, at 9-2. Happy Valley star James Norton , 39, places fourth in the latest odds from bookmaker Coral at 5-1 ahead of the anticipated casting announcement for the role.
