A CLASSIC Jaguar E-Type and a Rolls-Royce have been re-discovered together in a barn - having been tucked away for nearly four decades. But an attempted theft while it was parked outside a Woolworths shop prompted the owner to store it away for safekeeping. Since then, the car has remained untouched. The E-Type was produced by Jaguar from 1961 until 1974 before it was replaced by the XJ-S.
Today, it's widely considered one of the greatest sports cars ever made and is a huge favourite among petrolheads. It's particularly favoured for its stunning aesthetics, with Enzo Ferrari - the founder of Ferrari - reportedly calling it "the most beautiful car ever made". The listing adds that shortly after the Jaguar was stashed away, the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow joined it in the barn.
