Jaguar is taking a complete new direction to reinvent themselves and they recently unveiled a video to showcase the new plans for the company enraging the internet to bring in negative attention towards the brand. Jaguar has somehow managed to enrage the whole of internet with their new marketing exercise and they have gotten more attention that they have gotten in the past 4 decades. For those who are living under a rock, Jaguar is rebranding itself, and taking on a completely new direction but their new direction has enraged the internet and people are not happy.
They will go more up-market and will reveal the first of its all EV concepts at the Miami Art Week on December 2, 2024. They also recently changed their logo in order to give the brand a new identity but people are worried that in a bid to create hype around new electric vehicles, Jaguar is completely ditching its rich heritage. Is Any Publicity Good Publicity? The internet is no two ways about it, people are not liking the way that Jaguar has rebranded themselves.
The new logos are hyper minimalist as is with all the brand logos in recent times, but Jaguar never had a bad logo to start with. It was more characterful and had the essence of what defined the brand. The new logo does the same job but it showcases a completely different take on the brand.
The sad part is that Jaguar will also be replacing their front and rear logos with what will essentially be two “J’s” put upside down and the face of the Jaguar.
