Megan Arz, dubbed as the 'friendly neighbourhood tour guide', has lived in the continent for around five years but claims there are a few popular European cities she'd avoid revisiting for a wide array of reasons. But, brace yourself, her reviews are pretty scathing and even mention one UK hotspot. Taking to TikTok ( @meganarztravels ), she kicked off her hit list with a 'semi-obvious' city which is 'so easy to punch down'.

"That is Frankfurt, my neighbouring city here in Germany," she said. "Frankfurt does lack a lot of character, especially when you compare it to other cities in Germany and smaller towns. It’s a banking centre and you can feel that.
