This Morning hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley had to step in after producers decided to make a last-minute switch up to the usual schedule that caused absolute chaos on the live show. Ordinarily, the popular game Spin To Win takes place around noon, towards the end of the programme. However, for unknown reasons ITV executives decided to bring the prize-winning game forward on Thursday (January 23).
Spin To Win instead aired before 11am and those who had entered were clearly not prepared for the hosts to call at a different time in the day - leaving the hosts in an awkward position live on air. In their normal fashion Cat and Ben began to call those who had applied to be in with a chance of winning. The rules stipulate that each entrant must answer the phone within six rings and they also need to say the passphrase too.
By the time, the presenters had dialled the third person, it was evident there was an issue. Ben blurted: "It's because we've changed the time, they aren't expecting our call."
