Ranvir Singh, stepping in for Lorraine Kelly who is on her summer break, tried to get to the bottom of Ross's mysterious departure from the screen but was left more confused than ever. Ross teased that he'd embarked on a "top secret" adventure around Loch Ness in Scotland, yet did not divulge much about his activities, leaving Ranvir puzzled with his cryptic clues and James Bond-style gestures.

During Mondays episode (August 19), a curious Ranvir pressed Ross for details. She said: "Ross is back for us and he's live in LA. Now, you've been away for a bit what have you been up to?" "I've been away filming a top secret assignment, I can give you a little clue, this is actually me flying a plane up near Lock Ness," the showbiz reporter revealed.

Ross restrained himself from sharing too much, saying: "That's all I'm going to tell you," reports the Mirror . He continued: "I can't tell you anything more about it. Other than that but I will be back later with some very serious new on Ma.
