The WAG fall out came after Coleen shared that she had planted fake information on her private Instagram account to out who had been leaking stories about her to the press.

In October 2019, she took to Twitter to broadcast that fellow WAG Rebekah's account was responsible for the leaks. While sitting at the creek with Coleen, Dean McCullough and Jane Moore, influencer GK Barry asked Coleen if she was scared when she published the tweet. Standing firm on her decision, Coleen replied: "No because I just didn’t think it would have the impact it did, because I was just that sick and tired of it, it was draining.
