The popular ITV series keeps viewers on the edge of their seats, yet many took to online platforms to highlight an error made by the editing team. In multiple instances, the Bush Telegraph featured celebrities talking to the camera while displaying incorrect names.

For example, Love Island star Maura Higgins was shown but with the caption for Melvin Odoom, TV presenter and DJ, beneath her. Another mix-up had McFly’s Danny Jones mislabelled as Radio 1 DJ Dean McCullough. And Twitter quickly became a hotspot for jests over the gaffes.

One viewer quipped: "The editing team tonight need to be fired. they've mixed up campmates names several times. #imacelebrity #ImACeleb".

Another chimed in: "Issues with names tonight Danny was Dean and Maura was Melvin #ImACeleb #imaceleb2024," and a third asked: "What's happening with the names today? ? ? Danny was in the telegraph apparently it was Dean and Maura was Melvin. @imacelebrity #ImACeleb #imaceleb2024" Even as some fans collated the images, one couldn’t help but jest: "The names are cracking me up. Dean and Melvin look different! @imacelebrity @antanddec #ImACeleb", reports the Mirror .
