Emmerdale: Moira pours herself a glass of whiskey Emmerdale ’s Moira Dingle will find comfort in another man next week - and it’s an unlikely villager. The soap favourite (Natalie J. Robb) has had a dramatic few months following the ordeal involving son Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano).
As fans will recall, Matty was jailed after Samson Dingle (Sam Hall) lied to the police about being stabbed. He was eventually freed, after Samson confessed the truth about what happened. However, it’s Moira's behaviour that has been raising eyebrows among viewers due to her unexpected outbursts.
Despite snapping at Matty, Moira didn't seem to remember the exchange and apologised for being "cantankerous.” She also had a blazing row with husband Cain (Jeff Hordley) - before beginning to sleep in the middle of the day and drinking alcohol alone - a shock to viewers as Moira battled substance abuse three years ago. Cain quickly shared his confusion as she had previously left the house in a "funny mood.” However, Moira couldn't seem to remember her outburst - leaving Cain bewildered. And next week, things are to take a dramatic turn for the beloved couple.
