An Emmerdale resident is set to get fired after devastating abuse revelations come to light. The village villain, Tom King (played by James Chase), has been tormenting his wife Belle Dingle (portrayed by Eden Taylor-Draper) for months. After recognising his 'true' nature, she ended their marriage and recently reported him to the police.

Despite this, Tom continues to harass her, resorting to extreme measures such as installing cameras in her home and software on her laptop to monitor her activities. In a shocking turn of events, he even seemed to kill her beloved dog Piper, leaving Belle heartbroken. Recent episodes revealed that Tom has started dating Amelia (Daisy Campbell), which has left Belle terrified for the young girl's safety.

However, Belle finally disclosed the truth about Tom's abusive behaviour to Charity (Emma Atkins). Emotions ran high when Charity relayed Belle's traumatic experiences with her estranged husband, Tom, to Belle's brother Cain (Jeff Hordley). Charity informed Cain about the physical and mental abuse Belle suffered at the hands of Tom, which had gone unnoticed.

Enraged, Cain was ready to confront Tom immediately, reports the Manchester Evening News . However, following Belle's explicit instructions, Charity pleaded with him not to. At the end of the episode, Cain encountered Tom on Main Street.

Although no words were exchanged, Tom sensed something was amiss due to the sudden hostility. This week, the infamous village is abuzz with whispers of Tom.
