Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon was seen sharing her love for her co-star as she marked a special occasion. The actress took to social media with a public message for Alan Halsall on his birthday. The actor, who is famed for playing Tyrone Dobbs, was celebrating his 42nd birthday on Sunday (August 11).

Fans of the ITV soap may recall Alan first appearing on the cobbles 26 years ago, with his debut airing in November 1998. His first scenes saw him playing Kirby's Dream Land when his assumed mother Jackie Dobbs came to stay with Deirdre Barlow, who who been her cellmate in Redford Prison. And the rest, as they say, is history.

It started with Andy Whyment, who plays Weatherfield's Kirk Sutherland, as he shared a selfie of the pair to his Instagram Story and said: "Happy Birthday @alanhalsall. Enjoy your day bro.

" On-screen mum Claire Sweeny, who plays Cassie Plummer, also shared a snap and said: "Happy birthday my darling boy @alanhalsall." The actress shared her birthday wishes for co-star Alan Halsall Samia, who is known for starring as Corrie's Maria Windass, shared a photo of herself, Alan and Andy to her Instagram Story and said: .
