Coronation Street is set to bring in an emergency replacement following the shock exit of Sean Wilson, who was due to return as Martin Platt for the exit of Gail Platt, played by Helen Worth, from the ITV soap opera. The 55-year-old, who is best known for appearing in ITV drama Cold Feet, previously played biker Gary in 1990 and then returned to the cobbles as children's entertainer Jesse Chadwick in the ITV soap from 2008 to 2010.
