Login Australian music has never been less popular with Australians, a situation the local industry appears to be addressing with big-name nominations such as Kylie Minogue and Troye Sivan for its annual awards night. The Australian Recording Industry Association on Thursday revealed the nominees for the 38th ARIA Awards, to be held in Sydney on November 20, with Sivan and Minogue – who just placed fourth and 10th respectively on AFR Magazine ’s 2024 Cultural Power List – both competing for the headline Album of the Year category.
