The new movie It Ends With Us is already on track to becoming one of the most successful films of the year, but it’s also engulfed in some controversy at the moment. Blake Lively leads the cast of the romantic drama, an adaptation of the beloved book by Colleen Hoover and the first of her novels to be made for the big screen. Justin Baldoni directed the movie and also stars as leading man Ryle.
While the movie got mixed reviews from critics, fans are loving it and have awarded it a 94% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. The movie grossed $50 million for its opening weekend, which is double the expectations.
