Based on Rachel Yoder's novel of the same name, Nightbitch follows a stay-at-home mother who has taken a step back from her career as an artist. When the mother realises she is yearning to return to her old self, a surreal twist takes her to a new chapter of self-discovery. Joining Adams in the cast are co-stars Scoot McNairy, Arleigh Patrick Snowden, Emmett James Snowden, Zoë Chao, Mary Holland, Archana Rajan, and Jessica Harper.
Nightbitch premiered in September at the Toronto International Film Festival and has been touring the festival circuit eversince, most recently screening in Italy at the Torino Film Festival. The film is the fourth fiction feature outing for Marielle Heller, the director behind Oscar-nominated films Can You Ever Forgive Me? and A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood .
