Monday, November 25, 2024 The Iranian cultural office brought the essence of the nation’s rich heritage to life at the 7th International Tourism and Travel Fair, TRAVELEXPO ANKARA, held at the ATO Congresium Convention and Exhibition Centre from November 14 to 17. With a vibrant display, the booth featured Persian handicrafts, carpet weaving, iconic tourist destinations, and the timeless Persian literary tradition, drawing significant attention from visitors eager to explore Iran’s cultural identity. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about modern Iran, with a special focus on the benefits of visiting the country.
The exhibit aimed to strengthen cultural and tourism ties with Türkiye, offering a platform to deepen connections between the two neighboring nations. The opening ceremony of the expo welcomed international diplomats and cultural representatives. Key discussions centered on enhancing cultural exchanges and sharing expertise in tourism, laying the groundwork for stronger collaborative efforts among participating countries.
This year’s fair covered 10,000 square meters, offering a comprehensive experience through conferences, panels, concerts, and bilateral meetings. With over 240 exhibitors representing 30 countries and 14 cities, TRAVELEXPO ANKARA reaffirmed its status as one of Türkiye’s premier tourism events.
