Friday, September 20, 2024 Russian airline IrAero is adjusting its flight operations between Irkutsk and two popular Vietnamese destinations—Cam Ranh (Nha Trang) and Phu Quoc—by introducing a new technical stop in Nanchang, China. This shift, which will come into effect in late October 2024, replaces the airline’s current stopover in Hanoi, offering travelers a revised schedule for these Southeast Asia-bound routes. The change is expected to enhance operational efficiency and cater to a growing demand for travel between Russia, China, and Vietnam.

IrAero, known for serving domestic and international destinations from its base in Irkutsk, will implement the new routing via Nanchang starting on October 27, 2024. The airline has announced that this adjustment will affect both the Cam Ranh/Nha Trang and Phu Quoc services, which currently operate with a technical stop in Hanoi, Vietnam. The new route will now include a stopover in Nanchang, a key city in southeastern China.

The changes will impact the following routes: Effective from October 29, 2024, IrAero will operate a once-weekly service between Irkutsk and Cam Ranh/Nha Trang, with a technical stop in Nanchang. The flight schedule for this route is as follows: Beginning on November 1, 2024, IrAero will also adjust its weekly flight between Irkutsk and Phu Quoc. The updated schedule is as follows: Both routes will continue to be operated by IrAero’s Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) aircraft, a Russian-made regional jet kno.
