An Ipswich road has been closed at a key junction after a car and a van collided. Emergency services were called to Hadleigh Road, near the Sainsbury's petrol station, at the junction with the A1214 London Road at about 9.55am on Monday.
An ambulance was called and one person is being treated after suffering an injury. Police say the road is blocked both ways and recovery is in attendance clearing the scene. Drivers have been advised to avoid the area if possible and find alternative routes.
