The show, which first aired on BBC Wales in May, has now secured a 7pm slot on BBC Two and the series will follow the wildlife presenter as he explores areas in and around the Swansea Valley.

In the opening episode, Iolo, 61, will embark on a journey along the Upper Clydach river in search of a Dipper's nest hidden beneath a rock overhang. And as the series progresses, viewers can expect to see Iolo encounter a Black Tailed Skimmer, Water Voles, a Buzzard, and Adders sunbathing next to a rugby club in the central valleys. Iolo is best known for his work on BBC's The Watches, Winterwatch, Springwatch, and Autumnwatch, and he joined the popular wildlife series as a regular presenter in 2019.

However, last year he had to withdraw from presenting Springwatch after he suffered a heart attack during a six-mile run in the countryside.
