SARAH LAVIN is enjoying an off-season break in Milan alongside some of her fellow track star pals. The Irish hurdler ventured off to the northern Italian hub with British long jumper Jazmin Sawyers and high jumper Morgan Lake. Reflecting on the trip as a whole, the Limerick native described it as having 'surpassed all expectations'.

Among their itinerary was a visit to the city's historic shopping centre - the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Amid their sightseeing of traditional Italian traits such as vespas on every road and beautiful cobbled streets that date back to the Roman Empire days there was also a more modern aspect. That's because they took in a gig by The Jonas Brothers on Tuesday in the Mediolanum Forum.

Sarah shared a clip of the American trio belting out 'Year 3000' despite the pop classic being initially made famous by throwback English pop-punk act Busted. Her Instagram post drew a tonne of comments from followers who were very much struck down with a case of FOMO. Michelle pined: "Jonas Brothers singing Year 3000, my teenage self is screaming right now.

" While Swiss Olympian Ajla Del Ponte added: "Track girls on tour!" Lastly, Micheal wrote: "Love the style...

and the buildings aren't bad either! Enjoy loads." Lavin, 30, was among the bulk of Ireland's Olympic athletes who attended the homecoming ceremony in Dublin on August 12. En masse, they took the time to take photos with fans and sign autographs for the star-struck supporters.

It was the first of its kin.
