Guests are able to come face-to-face with exotic creatures by staying in one 34 luxury lodges at West Midlands Safari Park. Visitors can wake up just a whisker away from nine different species of animals and feel like they're in Kenya despite being in Kidderminster.

The Safari Lodges first opened in 2021, with eight lodges allowing customers to sleep surrounded by elephants and cheetahs. Now three years later, others offer spectacular overnight stays with views of giraffes, rhinos, red pandas, tigers and lions. West Midlands Safari Park opened a further eight lodges in July, with views of hippos and African wild dogs.

This is the first of its kind in Europe. The attraction this year won Tripadvisor’s Travellers Choice Award for the second year running placing it among the top 10 per cent of listings around the world. Head of Marketing, Vikki Green, said: "This is the second year running to win this accolade based on customer reviews, so it is the best endorsement we could achieve, and we are honoured to be included amongst guests’ favourite locations, once again.
