Rick Stein, 77, has become a household name in the UK thanks to his popular restaurants and cookery books. The chef is probably best known for his acclaimed restaurants along the south coast, several of which are in the idyllic seaside town of Padstow. He also has restaurants in Winchester in Hampshire, Sandbanks in Dorset , Barnes in London and Newquay in Cornwall .

Stein is also the head chef and a co-owner of the "Rick Stein at Bannisters" restaurants in Mollymook and Port Stephens in Australia. Unsurprisingly, the professional chef has quite the property portfolio, splitting his time between his pad in Padstow, Cornwall, London and Australia. The chef said previously that he and his wife Sarah typically split their time between Australia and the UK, according to Hello! Magazine .

In fact, several of Stein's TV shows are filmed inside his homes including his coastal retreat in Padstow. Padstow, which is located on Cornwall's north coast, is a foodie hotspot and home to four of Stein's restaurants - The Seafood Restaurant, St. Petroc's Bistro, Stein's Fish & Chips and The Cornish Arms.
