A couple who treat their pets as their children have created a luxurious bedroom for their spoiled dogs . When Serena Stadler and her husband Brett, both 24, bought their home , they decided to honour their fur babies by creating a "special" space. The couple set about over the course of three days transforming one of their bedrooms into a designated dog room.

The impressive room is complete with dog houses for beds, paw print wallpaper, a closet full of clothes, dresser, and custom portraits on the walls. Their chihuahuas, 14-year-old Madi and 11-month-old Remi, treat the space like a traditional bedroom using it to play and sleep in. Serena, a content creator based in Utah, United States, said: "It's designed to resemble a baby nursery but for dogs.

I decided to create a dedicated bedroom for them to provide a peaceful and happy space. "They have so many belongings, and I thought it would be adorable to curate a room just for them, treating them like our children." The couple, who have chosen not to disclose the cost of the project, spent three days transforming the room into a place fit for their beloved pets.

They set out to create a space that combined the "cosiness of a nursery with the functionality of a dog room". Serena explained: "The space features a DIY board and batten design on the walls painted in a soft beige, creating a gender-neutral environment since Madi is a girl and Remi is a boy. "I found the perfect paw print wallpaper that I couldn't resist.
