9 million, the 35-acre property was formerly owned by Texas natives Randall and Cynthia Veselka of DTI Credit. They initially purchased the land and went on to pour over $30 million into the development of the palatial home they dubbed Chateau V. Ultimately, they ran out of funds to complete the residence, listing agent Melissa Temple of Engel & Völkers tells Robb Report via email.
Its current owner stepped in, Temple added, seeing potential for the home and pouring in more millions before, “His wife decided it was too big and she wanted to live in Tahoe and not Colorado.” One of the most unusual features of the home is that each of the 20,000-square-foot home’s six en suite bedrooms each includes their own washer and dryer. An apartment for guests or staff is also featured in the home.
