The singer, 36, and her basketball agent partner secretly got engaged yesterday after he proposed in Tottenham, the tough area of north London where she grew up. Adele was quick to share the happy news with her friends and family, who are expecting a huge wedding towards the end of next year. On top of this, sources close to the singer have revealed she is set to move back to London after spending two years living in the US in Los Angele s, where she is believed to own at least three mansions.

And unless she decides to splash the cash on another mansion, she is believed to have a grand £11million west London home already - with her mother Penny living in a £1million flat around the corner. Her son Angelo is 11 .
