Influencer Sarah Sarosh, a content creator on Instagram and YouTube, is facing backlash for her recent GRWM (Get Ready With Me) reel, discussing the horrific Kolkata Doctor Rape-Murder tragedy while applying makeup. The video has since been deleted, with clips of the same going viral online. Sarah is the CEO of Impulse Coffees, MD of SASS Enterprises, and an occupational therapist trained at the GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai.

Being from the medical fraternity has enraged netizens all the more over the influencer’s content. A post shared by Jist 🇮🇳 (@jist.news) Several users called out the content creator over her ‘ tone deaf reel .

’ ‘ Someone’s pain is someone’s content ,’ slammed one user, while another netizen quipped, ‘T ragedies are mere content for some.’ ‘Not funny ,’ remarked yet another user, ‘how insensitive .’ Meanwhile, men, as usual, couldn't help themselves from stealing yet another opportunity to blame women, calling ‘ woman tea ’ while aptly being schooled over their misogynistic remarks.

Apologies followed, after the deletion of the reel and massive outrage. “ I am regretful for my actions, " the content creator remarked, even as netizens continue to critique her and a few even make abusive remarks. Meanwhile, apolitical clowns continue to remain silent over every other issue that plagues the country.
