A UNIQUE indoor attraction has called itself the "first amazement park in the world" - and it has great events for adults too. Wake The Tiger opened in Bristol in 2022 as an indoor immersive experience. It was created by the team behind the festival Boomtown Fair.

Guests visit 'Meridia,' that the website says was "once a beautiful world" but has broken down and turned into four communities. Also described as Willy Wonka vs Mad Max, the self-guided tour has more than 40 spaces with huge art experiences, hidden doors and an interactive story along the way. It is made for both kids and adults, with a cafe serving sandwiches and cakes along with drinks.

And Wake The Tiger After Hours lets adults have the place to yourself. On Fridays from 7pm until 11pm, all of the spaces are open along with the Guildhall Bar, as well as board games and a photo booth. If you don't quite want to visit in the evening, you can get 2-for-1 on beers from 3pm to 6pm.

Previous guests have raved about the attraction, with some calling it a "dystopian Disneyland ". Another wrote: "Absolutely 1 of the best things I've ever experienced." A third said: "We felt like we’d stepped into another realm and the scale of this and sense of exploration is awe inspiring.

" One person even said: "I worked for Disney for many years and have spent time at the various parks and the Imagineers who create the rides would be in awe of this also." Tickets start from £12.50 for kids and £15 for adults.
