IndiGo, India’s leading airline, is set to enhance international connectivity by launching new routes and increasing flight frequencies from major commercial and tourist hubs in South and Central India, beginning in October 2024. This strategic move aims to boost travel, catering to the rising demand for business travel, luxury travel and leisure trips during the festive season and holiday travel months.

IndiGo will introduce a daily direct Coimbatore-Singapore flight starting October 27. Additionally, the airline will increase flight frequencies from Chennai to Singapore and Colombo beginning October 15, and from Mumbai to Kuwait starting October 29. These new routes and additional frequencies are designed to provide passengers with more options to explore vibrant economic and tourist hubs in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

Chennai, often referred to as the ‘Detroit of India,’ is a major center for automobile manufacturing. The city is also known for its classical dance forms, rich cuisine, silk sarees, and stunning temples and churches.
