Wednesday, September 18, 2024 India’s Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Industry in collaboration with the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority, is pleased to announce the successful completion of the 17 th edition of the Sanganai/Hlanganani World Tourism Expo, an annual event that highlights Zimbabwe as a premier travel destination. The Ministry invites international buyers to explore Zimbabwe’s diverse tourism offerings each year. This year as a prelude to the prestigious event, a select group of Indian travel agents embarked on an unforgettable educational tour of Zimbabwe from September 7th to 16 th , 2024.
A variety of pre-tour itineraries were designed to showcase Zimbabwe’s diverse tourism offerings. These itineraries included journeys through the Eastern Highlands, Lake Kariba, and Great Zimbabwe, allowing participants to explore the country’s stunning landscapes, abundant wildlife, and luxurious experiences. The agents were immersed in a series of unforgettable experiences that allowed them to connect deeply with Zimbabwe’s unique attractions.
The tour’s highlight was the visit to the majestic Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and the largest sheet of falling water on the planet, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its breathtaking beauty and exhilarating adventures left an unforgettable impression.
