Sources confirmed that Mpox has been spreading worldwide. Three central hospitals like Ram Manohar Lohia hospital,Safdarjung hospital and Lady Hardingewill have all the facilities related to isolation.
As per the sources, the Central Ministry of Health had organizedseveral meetings with the experts on the virus scare which “is quite unlike” from the earlier Monkey pox virus. Last week, they had arranged meeting with the state governments and the National Centre for Disease Control . All point of entries iscurrently on high alert.
There is no connectionwith Mpox and COVID. By now all nodal officers are in hospitals and testing facilities are available at 32 ICMR centers, sources confirmed. They also added that symptoms of MPox are quite similarto chickenpox.
