27, and covered the first half of the year. Amy (Jorgensen) Brooner (Feb. 28, 1972-July 15, 2024): Amy received her degree in physical therapy and a Master of Science degree in biomechanical research in physical therapy from St.

Louis University. She served as a physical therapist and certified athletic trainer at Finley Hospital and became director of Inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitation Services at UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital. A member of Church of the Resurrection, she enthusiastically supported her daughters as a dedicated Girl Scout leader and was a swim mom, soccer mom and a Delta Gamma mom.

She also held roles as an officer of Mazzuchelli and Wahlert parent groups. Walter James Kunnert (Sept. 21, 1937-July 17, 2024): Kunnert opened a location of the franchise Shakey’s Pizza in Dubuque in 1967.

He would later drop the franchisee status, update the pizza recipe and add several new menu items to create Shot Tower Inn. The business has been a Dubuque staple for more than 50 years. He loved his customers at the Shot Tower and having them come in for the “440” club.

Leland “Lee” P. Weber (Feb. 15, 1942-July 26, 2024): He was a graduate from Cuba City High School and was an Army National Guard veteran.
