Terryon Ishmael Thomas, 20, of Newellton, is wanted by Baton Rouge police on a count each of aggravated criminal damage to property, resisting an officer and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. According to the warrant, Thomas was seen driving the stolen car, a black Lincoln MKZ, in the 4300 block of North Sherwood Forest Boulevard around 12:20 p.
m. Monday. When officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, Thomas backed the car into the front of a BRPD unit, drove between two buildings then exited the vehicle and fled on foot.
The stolen car belonged to William Abraham, who was found dead, rolled in tarp on the side of La. 51 between Fluker and the village of Tangipahoa, shortly before 8 a.m.
Sunday. The coroner ruled Abraham, 69, died of blunt force trauma..
