Organised by Showhouse, the unique festival , titled 'Malhar & The Sea', showcases India's rich musical heritage, featuring a star-studded line-up of artistes such as Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Kaushiki Chakraborty, Shujaat Husain Khan and Rakesh Chaurasia, Shivam Bhardwaj among others. The festival features a carefully curated line-up of icons of Indian music, including Padma Vibhshan Ustad Amjad Ali Khan’s music flowing into the brushes of the world-renowned artist Paresh Maity to paint a large canvas. Born and raised in Kolkata, the organiser of the event, Omer Haidar, has spent over 40 years curating music IPs and creating festivals at iconic locations like Victoria Memorial, and has always been passionate about bringing art and music to life in extraordinary settings.
