IMA Members, Jr Docs Stage Protests Across Adilabad Dist

Members of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and junior doctors of the RIMS staged a protest at the bus stand against the murder and rape of a trainee doctor in a medical college in West Bengal and demanded the West Bengal and central governments to take stern action against the accused involved in the rape and murder and do justice to the victim. All private hospitals remained closed as a mark of protest against the incident. Junior doctors of the RIMS, Adilabad also staged protests in front of the RIMS demanding justice for the victim.

The junior doctors also joined the protests by the members of the IMA. Protests took place in the district headquarters and towns including in Nirmal, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial and Kagaznagar. Local private doctors also participated in the protests.
