A woman addicted to body modification has shared what it's really like to get your eyeball tattooed . Trinity Eclectic says she has loved tattoos, piercings and body alterations for as long as she can remember, having spent the past decade transforming her own body. The 36-year-old influencer, who has 102,700 followers, shares her passion and body art with fans online - and one recent video where she shares her new eyeball tattoo has left social media users especially shocked.

Revealing how she ended up having the unusual tattoo, she said: "In the beginning, I was actually very sceptical about eyeball tattoos and thought I'd never do that. Never say never, I guess. When I got all the information and I felt brave and confident enough to do it, I booked in [a session].

"It felt terrifying. It wasn't painful in sense of physical pain but it was challenging for me to keep my eyes open and not to blink. I learned that my eyes seem to have a really strong defence mechanism that I had a hard time controlling.

I felt I wasn't in control and I cried a lot." The influencer, who is from Morelos, Mexico , had the procedure done in June this year - and has been through a gruelling recovery process that left her fearing her eye would never heal properly. But the healing process took longer than expected.
