Yes, you guessed it - Amazon Prime Day is on its way and like many others, we're mentally gearing up for the avalanche of discounts coming our way on Tuesday, July 16 and Wednesday, July 17. It's an ideal chance for shoppers to grab wardrobe essentials, beauty products , coffee machines, gadgets - such as this Ring Video Doorbell 3 - and plenty of random items you never knew you needed.

But hold your horses, the Prime Day discounts are only available to Prime members and you can sign up to Amazon Prime, here, for £8.99 a month. Your first month will be free as the subscription includes a 30-day free trial, reports the Mirror .

Now, as a fashion writer, it's hardly shocking that I'm most excited to see which clothing brands will be cutting their prices and, having experienced a few Prime Days before, I have some idea of what sort of labels and big names will be discounting their items - if the past few years are anything to go by.
