It feels criminal to be talking about autumn styling when summer is still hanging on by a thread. But as a fashion writer who’s frequently haunted by the clothes I didn’t buy, I know all too well that the best pieces sell out fast. Marks and Spencer launched their Faux Leather Aged Bomber Jacket in July and I wasn’t going to be burned again by waiting a few weeks to snap it up.
