The retailer's Embellished Mini Shift Dress is the ultimate party piece and feels far more luxurious than your typical high street find, making it one of my top recommendations for any upcoming festive gatherings. The shift dress has a slight retro vibe with its 60s silhouette . It's designed in a regular fit with a classic round neckline and a flattering mini-length hem, adorned with tiny gems that add a touch of sparkle to the ensemble, the Mirror reports.

Priced at £69, it's a bit pricier than average for M&S, but the fabric feels incredibly high-quality and I think you'd strug.
