Despite living in Manchester, it takes a lot to get me into the city centre, these days. Traffic jams and hefty parking charges normally mean I opt for the Trafford Centre if I fancy a spot of shopping, whether it be for clothes or homeware. But this weekend, a pop-up concept is opening in the Arndale's Urban Outfitters store, and it's enough to convince me.

I'd go so far as to say it's probably one of the best concepts I've seen this year, and my bank balance is already shaking in its boots having seen what will be on offer. This weekend, OURHOOD COMMUNITY , a curated platform for premium, independently Black-owned fashion, accessories homeware brands is popping up in Manchester. If, like me, you can't wait to splash your cash there, you'll be able to find it at Urban Outfitters in the Manchester Arndale on Friday 9 th and Saturday 10 th August.
