Danny Jones started his I'm A Celebrity adventures a week early - as a severe thunderstorm caused his flight to dramatically delay landing when Brisbane airport shut down. The singer and guitarist from pop band McFly, was due to arrive at Brisbane airport on Sunday after flying in from London but flight SQ245 flew into a giant storm which caused the runway to be closed. A statement over the tannoy in the Brisbane airport arrivals hall said "The runway is currently closed until the storm has passed.
" It went on to say any flights landed would also face delays as staff were unable to remove baggage. The storm is scheduled to last for at least an hour, with the flight originally due to have landed around the time the runway closed. The storm chaos means Danny is likely to face heavy turbulence and a bumpy landing when the pilot is able to land later on Sunday.
He is not the only star on the plane either as last year's I'm A Celebrity winner Sam Thompson and former Contestant Joel Dommett were also seen boarding the flight in Heathrow, as they will host an ITV2 spin off show this year. The full line up for I'm A Celebrity has already been well rumoured and the subject of much speculation, and it will be made official by ITV in the next few days with more arrivals due at Brisbane in the coming hours and days. The camp will include Coleen Rooney , 38, wife of footballer Wayne and also famous for the Wagatha Christie trial with Rebekah Vardy over leaked stories about her family.
