Personally, I hate the feeling of a thick layer of makeup on a hot sunny day. It's always a struggle in the summer months, as I like a decent amount of coverage but when the sun is beaming, foundation sounds very unappealing. Well, I tried out the Glow Hub 'defend yourself' facial sunscreen tinted SPF 30 for £14 and immediately knew I'd found my new go-to.

Skin experts recommend wearing a sun protection factor every day, so the fact this product is a two-in-one makeup and SPF was a real selling point for me. The product is described as 'silky' and 'serum-like' with a 'skin-smoothing, glow-giving, imperfection-blurring' finish. When I tried it, I definitely got the silky part, however I would say it's thicker in texture than a serum.

The formula is said to be 'non-greasy' which I agree with, however, I probably wouldn't recommend it for people with particularly oily skin as it did add lots of shine. I loved how the product looked by itself, and I would definitely wear it alone - but for work, I've been adding a high-coverage concealer in the areas I wanted to look more flawless.
