Dubliner Mark Hill is an illustrator who has teamed up with writer Kieran Fanning to present Haunted Ireland , a collection of spooky stories from every county in Ireland, published by Gill. BOOK: The Lord of the Rings I recently read Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari (this really blew my mind, everyone should read it) and The Mercy of Gods by James SA Corey (I’m a big fan of the Expanse series and this is in the same vein). I’m now rereading The Lord of the Rings , my favourite book of all time.
I’ve read it about eight times now and every time I discover something new. FILM: The Batman The Batman by Matt Reeves was the last film I watched – brilliant. He really creates a wonderful, dark atmosphere.
Before that, From Up on Poppy Hill by Studio Ghibli, another wonderful film. Ghibli movies always give me a sense of wonder I rarely get anymore as an adult.
