IEEE int’l conference starts at IIIT-A

Prayagraj: Computer vision and machine intelligence are two rapidly advancing fields that have the potential to revolutionise various industries and aspects of daily life. This view was stated by Prof BB Chaudhuri , as the chief guest while inaugurating the two-day third Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineering (IEEE) International Conference on Computer Vision and Machine Intelligence (IEEE CVMI), 2024, organised at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad, at its Jhalwa campus on Saturday. Prof Chaudhuri, who is also Patron-CVMI'24, said that computer vision refers to the ability of computers to interpret visual information, while machine intelligence involves development of algorithms and models that enable machines to learn and make decisions based on data.
